THE HOUR OF TRIAL
“A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? we cannot tell what he saith.”
“Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
“A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
“And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:16-24).
We can deduce from the preceding verses and the letter of Rabbi Yeshua to the true Philadelphians that He will come quickly when the trial of ‘those who dwell on earth’ (Revelation 3:10, NKJV) becomes hard and unbearable. The true Jewish followers of Yeshua HaMashiach in Judaism will be surprised of His sudden return. Rabbi Yeshua clearly states, “I am coming quickly! (Revelation 3:11).” But before he comes back, the people on earth will experience sorrow and pain, trial and tribulation brought by coronavirus pandemic and other calamities like what are already happening on earth now.
The Jewish believers will experience complete joy when Yeshua comes again for the second time as the anointed King of Israel.
But before His second coming, Yeshua is telling us that we can overcome the trial that is already happening if our faith is strong. All that we have to do is ask God for the things that we need right now. God shall respond positively to most of our prayers and petitions. That is the only way, Rabbi Yeshua can show to the rest of the remnant Churches how He loves us dearly.
The true Philadelphians will get what they are praying on account of their faithfulness in the observance and practice of the commandments of God. If we are not getting what we are asking from God there must be something that we are doing wrong. When our prayers go unanswered the problem could lie upon us. Holiness and perfection in the eyes of God are not easily acquired. This is the reason why we need to constantly and faithfully study the Law of God.
We have to continue going even when the going gets tough. We have to be patient and to endure the trials and purging of our soul. There are many things that Rabbi Yeshua had written in his letter to the Philadelphians that are being fulfilled today through the members of the New Jerusalem congregation. If you think you are suffering more than what your brethren in your church are going through, maybe that is one of the ways that God is telling you to take that leap of faith and become part of the New Jerusalem congregation.
“Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown” (Revelation 3: 10-11, ESV).
What is the meaning of the prophetic testimony of Yeshua ‘my word about patient endurance?’
Some other Bible translations rendered it as the ‘command to endure’ or ‘the command of patient endurance.’ Yeshua has instructed His kohanim or priests to be patient and to endure what they will be going through at this moment. Many people on earth are going through such tremendous trial they have not yet experience before. The ‘hour of trial,’ or can we refer to that as the Great Tribulation, may have come already upon the inhabitants of this world. We are already in the Great Tribulation and we are still enduring as if we are keeping the Feast of Tabernacles on a low budget. We are certainly not enjoying seeing our own people suffer and die.
We are almost there, wherever we are heading at this point. If we are travelling toward the Kingdom of God, the super powerful Kingdom of the Jews, maybe we are already standing at its gates at this time. But the sign is written in Hebrew and those that cannot understand Hebrew or the Jewish Holy Bible simply have no way of knowing that.
The members of the New Jerusalem congregation can also suffer economically like most of the people on earth. It is not easy believing you have been chosen when you are suffering in life. But quickly soon God could bring blessing to us who are destined to become part of Kahal Yerushalayim HaChadasha.
It is now easy searching and looking for the New Jerusalem congregation for the New Jerusalem has become completely Jewish in its beliefs and practices. The New Jerusalem is no longer Christian and not even Messianic. It is not really similar to most of the churches that have gone out of the Worldwide Church of God.
The letter of Yeshua openly states that the ‘synagogue of Satan’ is going to come and worship before the Church in Philadelphia (Revelation 3:9). The only way that the unbelieving Jews can do that is when the remnant church in Philadelphia is Jewish like them. Do not bother with what the Jewish rabbis might say and declare against the believers in Rabbi Yeshua. They, too, shall follow the Jewish people in worship of God and Yeshua HaMashiach when all of the Jews have believed already.
The truth is there is a coming invasion of the land of Israel wherein half of the city of Jerusalem shall be taken. That is the time that Adonai Eloheinu and Rabbi Yeshua would take control of the Jewish people in Israel and all over the world. Armageddon is coming soon in the land of Israel.
It did not just happen naturally that the prophesied Church in Philadelphia has become Jewish in worship and belief. Any one on earth who will keep the commandments of God and follow the true teachings of Yeshua shall become like that. The New Jerusalem is destined to follow and keep all the commandments of God written in the Torah of Moses.
The Jewish people wear crown on their heads for God has made them His royal priesthood—priests and kings. We are wearing kippa, yarmulka or skull cap on our head for that is what Yeshua is referring to in verse 11 that we should not lose. We have to hold onto it. We are the priests of the Most High God and according to the Law of Moses, the priests of God must always have a covering on their head like a crown no matter what happens.
