On August 21, 2020, the Hebrew month of Elul will be with us. We observe a tradition during the month of Elul that prepared us for the observance of the Jewish New Year on sunset of September 18, 2020. We sound the Shofar for the entire month of Elul to get us ready for the coming Day of Judgement on Tishri 1 (September 19, 2020). The video below hopefully would explain us why we should sound the shofar everyday during the month of Elul.
